SENATOBIA, Miss. –  The Hinds Community College Men's Basketball team picked a conference victory on the road against Northwest Mississippi CC by a final score of 56-51. With the win, the Bulldogs move to 10-16 overall and 5-5 in MACCC play. 
 
The Bulldogs and Rangers exchanged buckets for the majority of the first half, but Hinds held the 27-20 advantage going into the halftime break. Five minutes into the second half, the Rangers took the lead for the first time in the second half. Joshua Lemon hit a jumper with 2:02 to give the Bulldogs the lead and Hinds held on to the lead for the rest of the contest. The Bulldogs went on to defeat the Rangers 56-51 to grab their fifth victory in MACCC play. 
 
Joshua Lemon led all scorers with 13 points, while Kobe Jones finished the night with 12 points and shot 66.6 % from the charity stripe. Marquis Williams played in 27 minutes of the game and scored 10 points. Jakobe Singleton was one point and one rebound away from a double-double as he led the team with nine rebounds. 
 
The Bulldogs will return to action on Monday, February 26^th against Southwest Mississippi CC Bears inside J.D. Boyd Gymnasium. Tipoff is set for 7:30 PM.
