RAYMOND, Miss. — The road to the 2026 season is officially set as Hinds Community College Football announced its 10-game schedule for the upcoming campaign, featuring five home contests at Gene Murphy Field at Joe Renfroe Stadium and several marquee MACCC matchups throughout the fall.
The Eagles will open the season on Thursday, Aug. 27, at home against Itawamba Community College before beginning a demanding conference slate that includes road trips to East Mississippi, Pearl River, and Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Hinds kicks off the season under the lights in Raymond against Itawamba, giving Eagle fans their first opportunity to see the 2026 squad in action. The following week, Hinds travels to Scooba for an early-season showdown with East Mississippi Community College on Sept. 3.
The Eagles return home Sept. 10 to host Holmes Community College during Military and First Responders Night before heading south to face Southwest Mississippi Community College on Sept. 17. Hinds closes out September back in Raymond against East Central Community College on Sophomore Night Sept. 24.
October begins with a road matchup against Mississippi Delta Community College on Oct. 1, followed by another tough away test at Pearl River Community College on Oct. 8.
Homecoming is scheduled for Oct. 15 when the Eagles welcome Copiah-Lincoln Community College to Raymond in one of the season's biggest home contests. Hinds then hits the road for a matchup with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on Oct. 22 before closing the regular season at home against Jones College on Oct. 29 during Pink Out Night.
The 2026 schedule continues the tradition of Thursday night football in the MACCC and provides Hinds with multiple opportunities to compete against some of the conference's top programs. With a blend of returning talent, incoming playmakers, and momentum building around the program, excitement is already growing for kickoff in Raymond.
