COLLEGE:  Played 2016 season under Sam Temple at Hinds CC. Henderson was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Hinds Sports Hall of Fame member Jeff McClaskey at Northwest Rankin High School… Three-year letterman for the Cougars, where he was a teammate of current Hinds teammate Acy Owen… Finished his senior season with a 3-0 record to go along with a 1.40 ERA and 46 strikeouts… Allowed only 14 walks in 35 IP and had a walks plus hits per innings pitched (WHIP) of .971… Earned All-District honors after his standout senior campaign… Earned the Distinguished Service and Cougar Awards and graduated with honors from NWR
