Biography

COLLEGE: 2nd-team All-State honors as a freshman. Led the team in four big offensive categories: Average (.370), doubles (14), RBIs (40), and hits (57). Also, hit four homeruns. Signed to continue his athletic and academic career at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years under Trave Hopkins at Clinton High School hitting a career .320 with 10 homers and 47 RBI’s. Won the Silver Slugger Award, Best Hitter honors, and was selected for All-District honors. Also lettered four years in football, winning 1st Team All-District honors. Was inducted into the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Graduated from Clinton in 2018. Son of Brian and Tiffany Burchfield. Majoring in Business.
