Men's tennis defeats Holmes on Wednesday

The Hinds Community College men's tennis team came away with a team victory on Wednesday afternoon at the hands of nearby Holmes Community College, as the Eagles defeated the Bulldogs, 6-3.

The Eagles are now 11 matches into the 2014 campaign, and the results of the season are as follows:

2/8/14 – Hinds vs. Marion Military (Ala.) – L, 7-2
2/14/14 – Hinds vs. Holmes – Canceled
2/18/14 – Hinds vs. Meridian – L, 9-0
2/21/14 – Hinds vs. Northeast – L, 5-4
2/22/14 – Hinds vs. Itawamba – L, 9-0
2/25/14 – Hinds vs. East Central – L, 8-1
2/26/14 – Hinds vs. Gulf Coast – L, 7-2
3/1/14 – Hinds vs. Northwest – L, 8-1
3/18/14 – Hinds vs. East Central – L, 9-0
3/19/14 – Hinds vs. Jones – L, 8-1
3/22/14 – Hinds vs. Northwest – L, 7-2
3/26/14 – Hinds vs. Holmes – W, 6-3

The Eagles return to action on Tuesday, traveling to Ellisville to take on Jones County Junior College in a 2 p.m. matchup.
