The Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) state playoffs are still within reach for the Hinds Community College football team after the Eagles drilled Jones County Junior College, 38-13, at Joe Renfroe Stadium in Raymond on Thursday night.

Page started the scoring barrage with 35 seconds remaining in the opening quarter when he went head over heels into the end zone and scored from five yards out. The PAT was no good and Hinds had an early 6-0 advantage.

Parks extended the lead with 9:03 in the second quarter when he connected with Wims on a 37-yard touchdown pass. The point after was fumbled and the Eagles were unable to convert and now held a 12-0 lead.

Parks struck again quickly, this time connecting with Taylor on a 27-yard strike with 7:57 left before half. The point after was no good yet again and Hinds was now up, 18-0.

It was now Page's turn to throw a touchdown pass and he did just that, finding Wims from 12 yards out for the score with just 23 seconds left in the first half. The Mason Sollie (Raymond) PAT was good this time and Hinds took a 25-0 lead into intermission.

Tevin Moore got JCJC on the board with 12:04 in the final quarter when he scored from two yards out. Michael Godley added the point after and the Hinds lead was cut to 25-7.
