Eagles drop first two matches of 2015 season

The Hinds Community College men's tennis team dropped the first two matches of the 2015 season to Meridian Community College and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, 9-0, on February 9 & 10.

The Eagles fell to 0-2 with the losses and will return to action on Thursday, traveling to Ellisville to take on Jones County Junior College at 2 p.m.

The individual results vs. Gulf Coast on Feb. 10 are as follows:
#1 Singles – Aaron Gray – L, 6-1 & 6-0
#2 Singles – Austin Pevey – L, 6-0 & 6-0
#3 Singles – Melvin McNair – L, 6-0 & 6-1
#4 Singles – Kyle Burton – L, 6-0 & 6-0
#5 Singles – Peter Bethea – L, 6-0 & 6-1
#6 Singles – Jamarcus Burns – L, 6-1 & 6-1

#1 Doubles – Gray/Pevey – L, 8-5
#2 Doubles – McNair/Burns – L, 8-0
#3 Doubles – Burton/Bethea – L, 8-4
