Softball DH vs Co-Lin postponed; moved to Wednesday

The Hinds softball team was scheduled to play a road doubleheader vs. Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson on Friday, but the two-game set has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The two teams will now play a DH on Wednesday, April 22 at 12 p.m.

The Lady Eagles traveled to Decatur on Wednesday to face East Central Community College and came back with two 8-0 losses.

Meagan Duchesne (Mangham, La.) had two hits in the opener to lead the Lady Eagles.

Bridgett Goss (Bogalusa, La.) took the loss in the circle in game one.

Duchesne, Alexis Kinard (Terry) and Alexis Patterson (Vicksburg) each had a hit in the nightcap for Hinds (13-23 overall and 7-19 in the conference).

Alaken McNeer (Holly Springs) was credited with the loss in the circle in the second game.
