RAYMOND – The Hinds Community College Eagle football program has released their schedule for the 2020 season.
The Eagles 2020 football schedule features three home games on
Gene Murphy Field at Joe Renfroe Stadium along with three contests on the road.
All six contests will be played against Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) South Division opponents and take place each Thursday evening from October 8th to November 12.
Hinds will kick off the season on the road in Perkinston against the reigning national champions, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Bulldogs, on Thursday, October 8th at 7:00 p.m.
This is the second year in a row that Hinds will open up their season against the reigning national champions. Last year (2019), the Eagles defeated the No. 1 ranked East Mississippi Community College Lions 24-16.
The Eagles will then take on the Jones College Bobcats at home on October 15, at 6:30 p.m.
Hinds will follow up their matchup with Jones, with an away contest against the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wolves on October 22 at 6:30 p.m. in Wesson.
The final three regular seasons games will feature two home games and one away game.
On October 29
th, Hinds will have their homecoming game against the Southwest Mississippi Community College Bears at 6:30 p.m.
Following homecoming, the Eagles will take on the East Central Community College Warriors on the road in Decatur on November 5
th at 6:30 p.m.
Hinds will then wrap up the regular season at home on November 11
th at 6:30 p.m. against the Pearl River Community College Wildcats.
An official announcement in regards to a fan attendance policy, will be made in the near future.
