Ben Duncan (Florence) has been named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the Eagle's 30-24 win over Southwest last Thursday.
Last year, Duncan was named conference special teams player of the week twice and national player of the week twice.
Duncan, who handled all of the kickoff, punting and place-kicking duties for Hinds' special teams unit against the Bears, had a productive night in the win. The Florence native contributed 12 points on three made field goals (43, 40 and 27 yards) and three extra points. He also punted 5 times for 137 yards on the night.
