Box Score RAYMOND – Hinds Community College women's soccer lost a nail-biter 2-1 at home to Meridian Community College Tuesday evening.
 
Hinds got their only score 15 minutes into the contest when Anna Riley Payne (Richland) found the back of the net to put the Lady Eagles up 1-0 early. Ana Santos (Brazil) was credited with the assist on the goal. The rest of the first half would remain quiet, and the Lady Eagles would hold a 1-0 at the break.
 
Roughly 13 minutes into the second half, Meridian would tie the game up. The game would remain neck and neck for the majority of the second half until the Lady Eagles of Meridian would score in the 82^nd minute to secure their 2-1 victory.
