PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. - The Hinds Community College Golf Team opened the season last week as they competed in the Pearl River Invitational, a two-day tournament, hosted by Pearl River Community College. As a team, the Eagles posted a team score of 673 (+97) in the Invitational.
Individually, the Eagles were led by Collin Stringer who concluded the tournament with a score of 162 (+18) and finished tied for 23rd among individuals. Jordan Jefferies ended the tournament tied for 28th overall and carded a tournament score of 165 (+21).
James Lambert tallied a two-round score of 170 (+26), while Hartley Sullivan finished the tournament with a score of 178 (+34). Rounding out the scoring for the Eagles was Josh Pope who carded a 186 in the Invitational.

The Eagles will be back in action on March 6th-7th competing in the East Central Spring Invitational in Philadelphia, Miss at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club.
