RAYMOND, Miss. — The Hinds Community College men's and women's soccer programs will host its inaugural Kickoff Dinner at 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 4th, at the Mayo Fieldhouse Gym on the Hinds' Raymond Campus. 

Hinds Community College Foundation Executive Director Matt Jones will open the evening with an introduction and also serve as emcee for the event.  Hinds Director of Athletics Nathan Werremeyer will offer his remarks, followed by a season preview and introduction of both teams by Women's Head Coach Stephen Otto and Men's Head Coach Robert Gardner. 

Head Women's Soccer Coach Steve Otto stated, "We are excited to be hosting our players, families, and friends for our first annual Kick-Off Dinner. Hinds Athletics look forward to recognizing all of these fantastic student-athletes that have entrusted and committed to Hinds Community College as the next chapter in their lives. 

"We are really excited to begin a tradition of a season kick-off dinner beginning this year. Both Men's and Women's programs will be looking forward to a great season as we invite friends of the program, families of the program, and supporters of Hinds Athletics in to begin the fall semester," said Head Men's Soccer Coach Robert Gardner.

A meet-and-greet is set for 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at approximately 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 years old and under. There is also an option to purchase a title sponsorship for the event, which includes many different opportunities for recognition.
