JACKSON, Miss. – Macie Shelton of the Hinds Community College Women's Tennis team was named to the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference following her performance on the court this season.

Shelton was fantastic this year for the Eagles as she compiled a 14-6 record in singles and 14-10 record in doubles play. She won five of her last seven matches to close out the year. The freshman received her award during the Region XXIII Women's Tennis Championships on the campus of Jones College in Ellisville.

Shelton and the rest of the Hinds Tennis Team will wait until next week to see if they received a bid to the National Tournament.
