RAYMOND, Miss. – The Hinds Community College Women's Tennis team took care of business on Tuesday, defeating Copiah-Lincoln CC at the Cleon McKnight Tennis Center by a final score of 5-4.
Daniela Rodriquez and
Camila Perez grabbed the 8-5 victory over CLCC at #1 Doubles play.
Macie Curtis and
Rodia Noudogbessi gave Hinds the 2-0 advantage to earn the 8-6 win in doubles play.
In singles play,
Daniela Rodriquez tallied the 6-3, 6-3 win in the #2 Singles spot, while
Camila Perez earned the 7-5, 6-4 victory in #3 singles.
Macie Curtis earned the final victory for the Lady Eagles grabbing the 6-4, 6-4 win in #4 singles play.
Hinds Tennis will return to the courts on Friday, February 21
st when they travel to Senatobia to take on the Northwest Mississippi CC Landy Rangers. First serve is set for 2:00 PM.
