Box Score WESSON, Miss. – The Hinds Community College Men's Soccer team secured a hard-fought 2-1 road victory over the Co-Lin Wolves on Tuesday night in Wesson.
Kendarius Smith opened the scoring in the first half for the Eagles, finishing off a well-placed assist from
Oscar Tovar. Hinds carried the 1-0 advantage into the halftime break, showing strong defensive composure.
Midway through the second half,
Jedin Lee extended the lead to 2-0 with a clinical strike assisted by
William Guevara-Gonzalez. Although Co-Lin pulled one back late in the match, the Eagles held firm to close out the win.
Goalkeeper
Elliot Duffy was a standout performer, recording five crucial saves and playing the full 90 minutes in goal to help preserve the result.
Hinds returns to action on Friday, September 26, as they host East Mississippi Community College under the lights at Tom Shepherd Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 PM.
