RAYMOND, Miss. – The Hinds Community College Women's Soccer team continued their strong start to the season with a convincing 2-0 win over the United States Sports Academy on Friday evening at Tom Shepherd Field. With the victory, the Lady Eagles improve to a perfect 4-0 record to open the 2025 campaign.
Nicole Roberts put Hinds on the board midway through the first half, giving the Lady Eagles an early 1-0 advantage. The Hinds defense held firm, maintaining the lead into halftime.
In the second half, Kynleigh Doyle netted her first goal of the season to extend the lead to 2-0. The Lady Eagles controlled the remainder of the match, securing the shutout win in non-conference play. Gracyn White got the start for Hinds in goal and finished with a clean sheet to go along with two saves. Claire Garcia took over in goal in the 74th minute and closed out the match for the Lady Eagles.
Hinds returns to action on Tuesday, September 9, when they take on Southwest Mississippi Community College in another non-conference matchup. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m.
