COLLEGE: Spent the 2015 season with the Hinds Community College Eagles under Sam Temple… Had a perfect 3-0 record in seven appearances in his inaugural season in Raymond, throwing 10.2 innings and finishing with seven strikeouts to just three walks… Named to the 2016 Top Junior College Players to Watch list by Collegiate Baseball and to the NJCAA Top Returning Pitchers list … Signed with Louisiana Tech University during the fall 2015 early signing period… Named to Phi Theta Kappa, the national two-year honor society, and to Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges for his work in the classroom

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at West Jones High School for Joey Ward… Two-time All-District selection for the Mustangs, which played in the 5A state championship round against New Hope High School in 2014… All-State second team as a senior… Three-year letterman at WJHS, where he competed as a pitcher and as a corner infielder… Finished his senior season with a 6-5 record with a 2.35 ERA and 77.1 IP with 86 strikeouts and a .263 batting average against… Graduated Magna Cum Laude at WJHS and was a member of the Beta Club and Best Club
