Women drop first three games

The month of November has not been kind as of yet to the Lady Bulldogs basketball team, but luckily for them, the season is still young.

Hinds fell at home, 82-57, on Thursday night to Northwest Community College to drop to 0-3 on the season.

Kenya Wright and Carmen Smith, both sophomores of Jackson finished with 12 points to lead Hinds.

On Monday evening, Hinds welcomed Coahoma Community College to Utica for the team's first home game. The ladies hoped to get win number one under their belts, but were unsuccessful, falling 70-54 to the Lady Tigers.

Four team members finished with eight points against Coahoma.

The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Meridian Community College on Monday. Game time is set 6 p.m.
