Lady Bulldogs fall to Delgado on Monday

The Hinds Community College Lady Bulldogs fell to the visiting Delgado (La.) Community College Lady Dolphins, 54-41, on Monday night at J.D. Boyd Gym in Utica.

Tiana Roby (Vicksburg) was the lone double digit scorer for Hinds (0-3) on Monday evening, as the freshman guard poured in 12 points.

The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Clarksdale and Coahoma Community College last Thursday evening, but were unable to come away victorious, dropping a 79-53 decision in their first road contest of the season.

Erica Harris (Edwards) led the way in the scoring department with 12 points, and was joined in the double digit category by Alisha Guynes (Magee), who finished with 10 points.

Hinds opened the 2014-2015 season on Monday, Nov. 3 and were defeated, 68-52, at the hands of Mississippi Delta Community College.

Harris and Guynes led the way offensively for Hinds, as the duo scored 17 points and 10 points, respectively.

The Lady Bulldogs return to action on Thursday, traveling to Northwest Community College. Game time is set for 5 p.m. in Senatobia.
