Lady Bulldogs conclude 2013-2014 season

The 2013-2014 women's basketball season at Hinds Community College came to an end recently with a 71-64 loss to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at J.D. Boyd Gym in Utica.

Shegredda Shorter (Vicksburg) wrapped up her Hinds career with a team-leading 16 points against Gulf Coast. The sophomore center also blocked two shots and grabbed nine rebounds.

Hinds traveled to Wesson to take on Co-Lin Community College in the penultimate regular season contest, a 91-44 loss to the Lady Wolves.

Alisha Guynes (Magee) led the Lady Bulldogs with nine points in the loss.

Rajee McDonald (Port Gibson) was the team leader in a number of different categories for the 2013-2014 season, including points per game (9.0), rebounds per game (4.8), assists per game (1.2) and steals per game (1.5).
