Lady Bulldogs defeated by JCJC on Monday

The Hinds Lady Bulldogs were defeated by the Jones County Junior College Lady Bobcats, 92-52, in Ellisville on Monday night.

Hinds was led by Tyquisha Naylor (Meridian) in Monday's loss, as the freshman guard finished with a team high 11 points. She also had two rebounds and two assists.

Tiana Roby (Vicksburg) also scored in double digits, ending the night with 10 points to go along with two rebounds. Felicia Guynes (Magee) scored nine points and tied for the team high in rebounds with five.

The Lady Bulldogs (2-14) hosted Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on Thursday, Jan. 22 at J.D. Boyd Gym in Utica, but unfortunately could not come away with a home victory, falling to MGCCC, 55-40.

Naylor and Lineasa Palmer (Woodville) each had nine points on the evening to top the Lady Bulldogs in scoring.

Hinds hits the road again on Thursday night, traveling to Wesson to face Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
