Lady Bulldogs move to 3-0 on Monday night

The Lady Bulldogs of Hinds Community College have gotten off to a 3-0 start for the first time in recent memory after a 66-56 victory over Delgado (La.) Community College Lady Dolphins in women's basketball action on Monday night at J.D. Boyd Gym in Utica.

Makhala Jackson (Townsend, Ga.) was the game's high scorer versus Delgado on Monday, pouring in 17 points and finishing with six rebounds, five steals and four assists.

Adrianna Kemp (Bay Springs) had 12 points and six rebounds in a solid effort against the Lady Dolphins.

The Lady Bulldogs hosted Coahoma Community College on Thursday, Nov. 5, and were able to come away victorious with a 74-57 win.

Kaletreon Baker (Magnolia) led the way in the scoring department with 12 points, and was joined in the double digit category by Kemp, who finished with 11 points.

Hinds opened the 2015-2016 season on Monday, Nov. 2 and grabbed a win at the hands of Mississippi Delta Community College, 62-59.

The Lady Bulldogs return to action on Thursday, hosting Northwest Community College. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. in Utica.
