Women's basketball falls at Co-Lin on Thursday

The Lady Bulldogs of Hinds Community College fell to Copiah-Lincoln Community College, 58-45, in Wesson on Thursday night to lift the lid on South division play.

With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 5-3 overall and 0-1 in the South.

Alexia Williams (McCalla, Ala.) was the lone double-digit scorer for Hinds on Thursday night, as she had 13 points to go along with four rebounds and one steal.

The Lady Bulldogs were able to squeak out a 52-50 win in the team's final game before the Thanksgiving break on Monday, Nov. 23 in New Orleans, La. at Delgado (La.) Community College.

Annessia Durham (Utica) and Harper Newell (Bolton) both had 11 points to lead Hinds in the win.

Hinds returns to Utica on Monday night, hosting Southwest Community College at 5:30 p.m. at J.D. Boyd Gymnasium.
