Dylan Coleman and Connor Chisolm Named to All-Region 23 Team

RAYMOND, Miss. - The postseason accolades continue to come in for Dylan Coleman and Connor Chisolm of the Hinds Community College Baseball team. Coleman and Chisolm was named to the NJCAA All-Region 23 team on Tuesday following their performances on the field this season.

Dylan Coleman, a Delta State University commit, led the Eagles primarily at the hot corner for Hinds. Coleman was recently named to the All-Conference First Team last week and was the only Eagle to earn a MACCC Player of the honor during the season. The Clinton, Miss. native finished the season with a .412 batting average,1.269 OPS, 70 hits, 18 doubles, one triple, tied the homerun record with 14 during the BBCOR era, and had a team-high 66 RBI. Additionally, he played in 50 of the 51 games during the season and had a team-high .776 slugging percentage.

Connor Chisolm, a University of Mississippi commit, played in 50 games this season and played primarily second base for the Eagles. Chisolm was also just recently named to the MACCC All-Conference First Team and led the Eagles in multiple offensive categories. The Madison, Miss. native finished the season with a team-high .419 batting average, scored 68 runs, drew 34 walks, had a .542 OB%, posted four triples, and finished the year with 31 stolen bases. Additionally, he tied Coleman with 70 hits and was second on the team with nine homeruns and posted 39 RBI during the 2023 season.
