RAYMOND, Miss. – Three members of the Hinds Community College Baseball team have been recognized by the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) for their outstanding performances during the 2026 season, highlighted by sophomore outfielder Ethan Keen earning All-MACCC First Team honors.

Sophomore standout RJ Brown and pitcher Jacob Galloway were also recognized, earning spots on the MACCC Honorable Mention Team after strong seasons for the Eagles.

Keen delivered one of the most dominant offensive seasons in the conference, appearing in all 52 games while batting .299 with 50 hits, including four doubles, two triples, and 19 home runs. The sophomore slugger drove in 51 runs and showcased a disciplined approach at the plate with 22 walks, finishing the season with a .413 on-base percentage and an impressive .689 slugging percentage. His 19 home runs also cemented his place in program history, as Keen now holds the Hinds baseball record for most home runs in the BBCOR era. Defensively, he added 59 putouts and posted a .955 fielding percentage.

Brown emerged as one of the Eagles' top all-around players during the season, batting .309 across 48 games. He collected 50 hits, including eight doubles and 10 home runs, while earning a .556 slugging percentage among qualified hitters. Brown drove in 36 runs and stole 14 bases while also contributing defensively with 291 putouts and a .976 fielding percentage.

On the mound, Galloway became a key piece of the Hinds pitching staff throughout the year. The sophomore appeared in 14 games and finished with a 5-6 record over 66.1 innings pitched. Galloway struck out 60 batters, one of the top marks on the staff, while helping anchor the Eagles' rotation during conference play.
