Dylan Coleman Named NJCAA Second Team All-American

RAYMOND, Miss. – The accolades continue to roll in for Dylan Coleman as he was named a NJCAA Second Team All-American following his performance on the diamond this season.

The All-America selections are made by the NJCAA Division II Baseball Committee and 36 All-Americans are chosen to be named to the teams.

Coleman was a force at the place and was an anchor on the corners of the infield for the Eagles during the 2023 season. Prior to this All-American honor, he was named to the MACCC All-Conference First Team and was the only Eagle to earn MACCC Player of the Week during the regular season. Additionally, he was second on the team with a .412 batting average totaling 70 hits, 18 doubles, one triple, tied the homerun record during the BBCOR Era with 14 homeruns, had a team-high 66 RBI, and played 50 of the 51 games during the 2023 season.

Head Baseball Coach Dan Rives stated, "We are so proud of Dylan because this is an honor that is well deserved due to his work ethic, and obviously his production on the field. The numbers that he put up at the plate are as good as anyone else in our league and it is great to see him recognized for this. To have an All-American in back-to-back years is great recognition for our program, and we are thrilled for Dylan."

Dylan Coleman is committed to Delta State University to continue his baseball career during the 2024 season.
