RAYMOND, Miss. –  The Hinds Community College Softball team is set to compete in the Region 23 Semifinal Softball Tournament on the campus of Copiah-Lincoln Community College in a double elimination tournament. 

The Co-Lin Lady Wolves will host the four-team pod as the #1 seed. Teams competing in the tournament include #1 Co-Lin, #4 LSU-Eunice, #5 Hinds, and #8 Northeast. The Lady Wolves and the winner of the play-in game will play at 3 PM on Friday and the Lady Eagles will compete in the second game of the bracket against LSUE. 



The winner of this pod of the tournament will go on to play for the Region 23 Championship on May 11 and will qualify for the NJCAA Division II Softball Tournament in Spartanburg, SC from May 20-25.

Tickets will be sold at the gate for $15 cash or card and no season tickets are allowed for the tournament. MACCC passes will be the only ones accepted for the tournament.

The Lady Eagles will play on Friday, May 3rd against #4 seed LSUE at Lady Wolves Field. First pitch of the game is scheduled for 6 PM. Come out and support your Lady Eagles!
