RAYMOND, Miss. – Adding to her postseason accolades, Ellie Williamson of the Hinds Softball team was selected to be a part of the All-Region 23 team. Williamson, who also was awarded All-MACCC First team at the conclusion of the 2024 season. 

Ellie finished the season with a .378 batting average, .488 OBP, and 48 RBI which led the team in those specific categories. Additionally, she played in all 48 games for the Lady Eagles and totaled 51 hits to finish her career with Hinds. 

Williamson and the rest of the Lady Eagles finished their historic season with a 32-16 overall record and earned 21 wins in MACCC play. The 32 wins was the most wins since the 2008 season.
