RAYMOND, Miss. - The Hinds Community College Baseball team will open the 2026 season on Friday, January 30, hosting Millsaps College in a doubleheader at Joe G. Moss Field in Raymond.
On the mound, the Eagles return a deep and experienced pitching staff led by veterans
Charles Chisolm, Thomas Nicols,
Amzie Cochran,
Ethan Ross,
Sam Stumph,
Jacob Galloway,
Kylan Landers,
Hunter Parker,
Jack Wright,
Calvin Robinson,
Tyler West, and
Peyton Beck. The staff also adds freshman
Jack Grove, who is expected to contribute out of the bullpen.
The Eagles' coaching staff emphasized pitching depth and infield versatility on the recruiting trail, bringing in
Brady Griffin, Aiden Mela,
Rhett Murphy, and
Cooper Loftin to strengthen the roster.
In the outfield,
Cade Fairley,
Cole Stumph,
Rolen Fanning,
Tanner Alhinai, and
Sam Sheffield will see the bulk of the action. Across the diamond, Hinds will rotate
Brody Breithaupt,
Ryder Molea,
Ty Ramage,
Lane Almond,
Ford Matthews,
Ben Kennedy,
AJ Seiter, and
Hayden Smith.
Behind the plate, the Eagles will rely on a group of experienced options, including
