Lady Bulldogs beat Delta in thriller

The Hinds Community College Lady Bulldogs won a 67-65 thriller over Mississippi Delta Community College on Monday night to improve to 4-1 on the season.

Hillary Kemp (Bay Springs) led the way offensively in the narrow win, scoring a team-leading 11 points. Adrianna Kemp (Bay Springs) added 10 points in the victory.

The lone loss for the Lady Bulldogs came at the hands of Northwest Community College on Thursday, Nov. 12, as the Rangers came away with a 73-67 win over Hinds.

Makhala Jackson (Townsend, Ga.) had a big night for Hinds, scoring 17 points and grabbing seven boards, as she ws joined by Hillary Kemp, who had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

The Lady Bulldogs return home on Thursday, playing host to Holmes Community College. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. at J.D. Boyd Gym in Utica.
