LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Hinds Community College Softball Coaching staff earned the NJCAA Division II ATEC/NFCA South Regional Coaching Staff of the Year, announced by the association on Wednesday.

Megan Robertson, and Graduate Assistant Coach
Madison Monson were recognized for the leadership and coaching they provided to the Lady Eagles softball team which was ranked for the majority of the season and finished the season ranked #13 in the NJCAA D2 Poll.
Under the direction of Coach Grzanich, the Lady Eagles had their best season since the 2008 season with 32 wins. After a nine-win campaign in 2023, the Hinds Coaching staff turned the program around with a 21-run improvement this season.
To be eligible, the program's head coach must be an NFCA member and winners were voted by member head coaches in each of their respective regions. The National Coaching Staff of the Year will be announced on June 5 following the conclusion of the 2024 NJCAA Division I & II Softball World Series.
