The Hinds Community College Lady Bulldogs fell to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, 74-67, on Monday night in the final contest before the Christmas break.
Kenya Wright of Jackson, a sophomore guard, had 30 points to lead all scorers on Monday.
The loss dropped Hinds to 2-7 overall and 0-2 in the South division.
Wright also poured in a a game-high 28 points on Thursday, Dec. 1, but it was not quite enough, as the Lady Bulldogs were defeated by the Jones County Junior College Lady Bobcats, 80-65.
Hinds held a one-point lead late in the first half, but was unable to hang on for the victory.
The Lady Bulldogs came into Thursday night's contest riding a two-game winning streak. Hinds had defeated Delgado (La.) Community College on consecutive Thursdays.
Hinds won, 68-67, on Nov. 28, and 58-51, on Nov. 21.
