Hinds drops first conference game on Thursday night

The Hinds Community College Lady Bulldogs hit the road on Thursday night to open up South division play, but were unable to come away with a victory, falling 70-59 to Pearl River Community College.

The loss dropped Hinds to 1-7 overall and 0-1 in the South.

Quin'meka Shaw (Greenville) led the Lady Bulldogs against Pearl River, finishing with 16 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Marshay Jones (Jackson) was the other Lady Bulldog in double digits, as she had 11 points, two rebounds and one steal on the evening.
