After the Eagles took a 4-0 lead into the bottom of the seventh inning, things got elevated a bit, as the Warriors had bases loaded with two outs, trailing 4-3. However, Sanders struck out Cody Daigle to end the game, and in the process, picked up his seventh save.
Jonathan Washam (Sterlington, La.) was the heavy hitter in the nightcap, going 3-4 with three RBI to lead the offensive attack.
The Eagles played a single, nine-inning game at Baton Rouge (La.) Community College on Friday, March 20 and came away with a 7-3 victory over the Bears.

Tyler Cox (Brandon) hit his second home run of the season and picked up three RBI to give the Eagles some insurance runs in the middle of the contest.
Matt Jones (Madison), Chase Lunceford (Clinton), Kyle O'Keefe (Madison) and Jordan Washam (Sterlington, La.) all had two hits versus BRCC as part of the Eagles' 13-hit attack.
