TUNICA, Miss. – The Hinds Community College golf team competed in a 36-hole MACCC Championship on Monday at Tunica National Golf Course. As a team, the Eagles finished the MACCC Championship in 9
thplace with an overall team score of 638.
James Lambert led the Eagles with a score of 72 in the first round and a 79 in the second round for a T-12 place finish. Lambert also qualified for the Gulf District Championship, which will take place at Dancing Rabbit Golf Course in Philadelphia on April 22-24.
Jordan Jefferies carded a (79-82) in the two-round tournament, while
Hartley Sullivan finished just one stroke behind Jefferies.
Harry Lockwood and
Braden Crisler rounded out the scoring for the Eagles with a 166 and 168 respectively.
