TUNICA, Miss. – The Hinds Community College Golf concluded their opening event of the fall season on Tuesday, placing 6
th in the Est Mississippi Invitational held at Tunica National GC. The Eagles finished strong in the final round shooting +16 as a team.
Stephen Faucheaux led the Eagles firing a (76,74) , which was good enough for a 3
rd place finish overall. Additionally, he was named to the All-Tournament team in his collegiate debut.
Connor Shurden carded a (80,75), while
Trevor Antley finishes the tournament with a (84,77).
Christopher Cain shot a (87,76) for his first collegiate tournament and
Hank Vickers carded a (89,82). Rounding out the scoring for the Eagles was
Daniel Stringer with a (86,85)
The Eagles will return to action on September 30-October 1 when they compete in the Copiah Lincoln Invitational in Brookhaven at the Brookhaven CC.
